Worship & Church Picnic-Sunday, 10-3-21, 10am

Please join the United Presbyterian Church for Worship & Picnic at Wantagh Park.

FRIENDS & FAMILY ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.

We can host up to 100 people.  Come early & stay late.  We have the space until dusk.

Hot Dogs, Hamburgers & Drinks will be provided.

  Please bring a Covered Side Dish or Dessert.

In case of poor weather, meet at the Levittown Campus

A Free Will Offering Will Be Collected to help defer the cost of the park permit.

The Sign Up Sheet Can be found in the Narthex or email the church office.

Wantagh Park is a Picturesque Waterfront location.  Bring your cameras.

The picnic area boasts BBQ Grills, Picnic Tables & Restrooms. 

We will be set up at the RED BARN #1.                      

 Access to the park is free for Nassau residents.  Non- residents pay a $10.00 entry fee. Parking is adjacent to the shelter area. Accessible parking is available but parking is limited so carpooling is recommended.

         The park adorns 2 Large Playgrounds, Mini Golf, Fishing Pier & Walking Path.

Get your game on at the Mini Golf Course – Leisure Pass Rates – Adults $9, Children, Seniors, Disabled & Veterans $6, Non Leisure Pass Rate $14

Directions:

Take the Southern State Parkway to Exit 27 South (Wantagh Parkway). Exit off the Wantagh Parkway at Sunrise Highway East. Make a right onto Wantagh Avenue. Take to the end and make right onto Merrick Road. At first light make a left into park.

Lenten Bible Study

Starting Thursday, March 5th. We will meet every Thursday evening through April 2nd for a Lenten Bible Study. Join us at 6:00 pm at the Massapequa Campus in the boardroom.

We will have a Soup and Salad Supper & Lenten Studies.  Prayer, meditation, art , music are ways of centering ourselves and honoring God.  Hope to see you there!

Sunday Supper at Six March 24th. 6-8pm in the fellowship hall of the Massapequa Church, 150 Pittsburgh Avenue.

 Members, friends and family of our congregations are invited to attend.  Children and grandchildren are always welcome.  We will be playing bingo after dinner.  Each attendee is asked to bring a dollar scratch off card to be used as a prize for the Bingo winners.  Please bring a covered dish of your choice.  Joan & Joe Tischner will provide the setup, beverages and desserts for this dinner.  Please RSVP to Joan at 516-819-0525.

Members Needed for Church Inventory

Calling all Members:

Both the Levittown & Massapequa church need to take inventory of all items in their buildings for the consolidation process.

We are asking that all members volunteer their time on the
following dates to assist with the recording of items in both
churches.

Levittown – Today, Sunday, July 8 following Worship from 11-1pm and Massapequa, Wednesday, July 11 from 6-8pm.

Supper at Six – Sunday, January 21st.

Sunday, January 21st. 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. hosted in at the Presbyterian Community Church of Massapequa in the fellowship hall.

Members, friends and family of our merging congregations are invited to attend SUPPER at SIX. Children are always welcome. Please bring a covered dish of your choice as well as a board game or card game to share with the group after dinner.
