Hand in Hand: Jews and Arabs Working Together to End Violence in Israel on October 19th. at 4pm.

The First Presbyterian Church of Levittown is hosting Hand in Hand: Jews and Arabs Working Together to End Violence in Israel on October 19th. at 4pm.

Current events threaten to pull Jewish and Arab citizens of Israel apart.  Fear, anger and violence are undermining shared living. But this is not the case at Hand in Hand.  Hand in Hand brings together thousands of Jews and Arabs in five schools and communities throughout Israel.  Through the medium of education the organization provides on a daily basis the viability of inclusion and equality for citizens of Israel.

Please join us for a discussion with Hand in Hand founder, Lee Gordon and his colleague Mohamad Marzouk as they discuss the way that they are working together and preparing Jewish and Arab youth to build partnerships and coexistence between Jews and Arabs in Israel.

The discussion will be held at the Levittown Presbyterian Church, 474 Wantagh Avenue, Levittown NY.
